Mosquito Joe of South Central PA provides services to make outside fun again for our customers. We are seeking Pesticide Technicians. At Mosquito Joe, we provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, controlling outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, ticks, fleas and stink bugs. Our Pesticide Technicians are trained mosquito control experts who travel to customer homes to apply barrier spray solutions that keep their yard itch-free for 3 weeks. We also provide services for special events to keep guests chatting and laughing instead of scratching and slapping.
The Mosquito Joe technician is a part or full time seasonal position during the active mosquito season from April – November. In addition to applying barrier treatments, technicians are knowledgeable of all Mosquito Joe services/policies and fully communicate to customers the expectations, procedures and tips applicable to the service being provided.
Requirements:
• Previous pest control experience or pest control knowledge a plus
• Good Customer Service skills
• Professional & Friendly
• Reliable
• Detail Oriented
• Self-confident & Enthusiastic
• Comfortable driving to customer locations
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be able to pass a background check
Duties
• Visually inspects customer property and treats for mosquitoes
• Maintain high customer service standards and good customer relations
• Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for service and procedures
• Take personal initiative and responsibility for correcting any problems
• Maintain treatment records according to State requirements
• Participate in team meetings
• Complete licensing requirements and continuation education requirements
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
• Willingness to market business
• Able to walk customer property while caring equipment weighing about 60lbs for long periods of time in warm temperatures
